The Barcode

Defined by strong geometry and a refined palette, The Barcode balances a grounded stone base with a sculpted upper volume, relying on scale, texture and natural light to create a sense of quiet permanence.

On the lower level, sweeping arches carved from natural travertine frame the entryways and the deep set windows. These solid stone forms are paired with linear timber slatted doors and subtle landscaping, making a secure yet welcoming transition from the street.

Above, the design shifts to a strict rhythm of vertical concrete fins that screen the upper level. That linearity is broken by a smooth, deep central curve that pulls the volume inward, casting soft shadows across the rendered surface through the day.
