Poised in Bellevue Hill, Bunyula is a sculptural home set over several levels, designed to sit with its setting as its form steps down the site and opens to the gardens and pool below.

The interior balances generous proportions with a restrained palette of herringbone timber, veined marble and crown moulding, quiet and warm rather than showy. Expansive windows draw light through the living areas and frame the tiered gardens and pool.

A sculptural staircase links the zones for family living, private retreats and entertaining. The joinery is built to measure, the bathrooms are finished in marble and brass, and the poolside terrace and landscaped gardens carry the sense of flow outdoors. Building and interior work as one throughout.
